Pro Skater Bob Burnquist Busts Moves on an Awesome Floating
Skate Ramp on Lake Tahoe
Big dreamer
and professional skater Bob Burnquist knows how to make a splash! This year he
and his team built an awesome new floating skate ramp. The design team led by
Jeff King and Jerry Blohm constructed a 7,300 lb skate ramp on top of a
floating platform and pulled it out onto the water near Bliss State Park on
Lake Tahoe. Designed as part of the Dream Big California Tourism Campaign, the
ramp is just one showcase that promotes all the cool, inspiring people and
places within the state.
